Dr BS Garg MD & Ph D is secretary, Kasturba Health Society. He is also Director, Dr. Sushila Nayar School of Public Health and Director- Professor of Community Medicine, MGIMS. He is also Incharge of WHO Collaborative Centre for Research & Training in Community Based Maternal, New born & Child Health.
He has served as consultant to WHO (SEARO), DFID, CRS, USAID and various International and National Agencies on issues of public health concern. Dr Garg is a recipient of Dhanwantri & Harcharan Singh Oration. He was awarded Best Teacher by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik in 2006.
